Update

We've wrapped up another busy week in 4th grade!

Look for papers coming home today about after school activities, notes from our parent group, and book order forms. I have set up online ordering for book orders to make ordering more convenient for you! Orders are due Monday, Sept. 26th. If you scroll down on the right of this page under "Helpful Websites" you will find a link to the website!

Book reports are due in just over a week so make sure to be reading as much as you can at home and starting those book reports! There are 2 pages of math homework tonight (most completed in class) and an island design map project due for Tuesday in Social Studies (most are also done).

In science we are busy researching the health benefits of the different food groups. Below is the link to the USDA website sharing information about the newest "food pyramid" called "My Plate." We learned a lot today about vegetables and will do more research next week. The kids will then work on designing their own way of representing the food groups!
